I'm Cory Albrechtson and thank you for visiting my port. My work consists of dark and cinematic concepts. I like pictures that tell a story or make you think. I love coming up with new concepts and I have a lot of the in my head so don't be afraid to ask, most of them on the darker side. Maybe I just watched too many action and horror movies growing up. Some concepts are based on one idea or pacific vision that I have. Sometimes the concept is no more than lets grab an airsoft gun a black suit or dress and shoot some photos. The bigger the idea the more challenging and fun it is to shoot. I don't shoot nudes or gore, if I ever did there would need to be purpose to it for the concept of the photo.
I'm serious about photography but I have a lot of fun doing it. I've had fun working with everyone I've worked with. For me every shoot is different, its like sculpting or painting but with a camera and lights. I consider my work more as art and less as photos. You can see more of my work on Flickr

I have many ideas but they are still difficult to come up with sometimes. If i haven't shot with you before and If you would like to work with me and you are relatively close by I would prefer to meet with you at Starbucks or someplace similar to brainstorm ideas. The things that help me with ideas are wardrobe items, locations or props that are out of the ordinary.
