I believe in the word pretty and I am empowered by beauty, I am a romantic till the last, and I believe in the power of the gaze. I adore all things Rococo and Baroque. Currently I am working on a series of drawings about my hair and its role in my identity.
I am happy to be here on MM and hope that I can find other individuals who believe that through art, beauty, and ornamentation, that we can challenge the cultural concept of normalcy that so many people believe is reality.
I am willing to trade art in exchange for hair, costume, and make up services. I have a lot of ideas for hair that I am in need of help to achieve, so if you are interested let me know. I am interested in working with designers and stylists as an illustrator of their work.
My work has been shown nationally in a number of group and solo exhibitions and internationally as well. I am a professor of drawing and design, and believe that I am privileged to work in my field.
I am interested in creating sets and stage backdrops for shows and events, my large-scale works are viewable at my website. I have had a number of experiences with commercial mural companies and set productions. Contact me if you are interested in doing something along those lines. I am available for commissioned portraits from both life and photographs, including animal portraits and multiple figure portraits.
