About me
Managed by a seasoned photojournalist and successful commercial photographer with many international assignments, Shaq Photography LLC has been servicing the photography needs of small & medium businesses, from fashion designers to jewelers, high-tech companies to ad agencies, throughout the tri-state area and beyond (we have international clients as well) for the past 10 years. We specialize in fashion (from catalogs and lookbooks to runway), model portfolios and headshots. We even have special deals for young designers (read below).
We work internationally for some of our clients, especially in Italy and Israel, but are able to travel anywhere for a shoot.
** TFP policy: 95% of our work is paid, however we are always looking for new faces to introduce to our clients. We set aside 2 TFP sessions per month for selected models TFP (due to our studio workload we can't do more). If you're interested in a TFP please don't hesitate to drop me a note. If it makes sense for both of us, we're on.
** Young fashion designers: in an effort to assist new and talented fashion designers, we have significantly low photoshoot rates for qualifying designers. In many cases we will shoot *at cost* or even TFCD for the right designer (in our discretion). We want you to remain with us when you're big and famous :-). Images shot TFCD for a designer may have very limited commercial usage license.
** Crew: we work with a full crew (at the very least a MUA, assistant/s and retoucher).
** Location permits: we will always obtain location permits (when required) when shooting commercial assignments.
** News flash: we just opened our new studio in Garnerville, NY (30 minutes from Manhattan, right off 9W). We also shoot on location (a lot) and in other commercial studios, depending on the client's needs.

** Friends requests: I am flattered, but to keep it professional I will gladly accept friends requests from people I have already worked with or am planning to work with in the near future. I don't see any value in a 6000 names friends list.
** Flakes: if you are one, you know I'm talking to you. With so many talented and hardworking models out there, I don't have the time or sympathy for those who use this site for dating or ego boost. So do both of us a favor and find someone else to play with.
