The first thing to say is that I am a French woman, living and working in Nottinghamshire. Out of a curious desire to see what my face and figure would look like when photographed professionally, I went along to a fashion photographer and he did some portfolio shots for me. Both he and I liked them very much and I was surprised and pleased when he said that my curvy figure and tanned blonde looks would be attractive to many other photographers.
So voila! here I am with some basic experience, ready to work with photographers and willing to explore the different branches and styles of imagery, from fashion and lingerie to artistic. I shall bring style and grace to your studio and a happy and very French joie de vivre to the session.
I am confident and sophisticated, I understand the technical processes and I know how to wear and choose garments that create a knockout and exciting image. I would like to collaborate with photographers and join in with the artistic and creative process that goes into a fine image. I have access to a large wardrobe of stunning garments and can supply specific outfits on request.
I have a particular skill with makeup and can prepare myself for a forthcoming shoot using my own expertise and materials, if it is necessary.
Paid assignments are preferred, and I am able to drive and travel reasonable distances given a little notice. Understanding my responsibilities is important to me and I would never let a photographer down when a date is booked. Other work, on a TFP basis, will be considered provided that it will add something worthwhile to my portfolio and broaden my experience in a positive way.
Types of work that I will consider are
Fashion and Catwalk
Swimwear
Lingerie, especially vintage nightwear and corsetry
Burlesque and Theatrical
Implied topless and topless work (but only on a paid basis).
Period and formal dress portraits
Fine Art (but essential to have detailed descriptions of the project before committing).
My goal is to build up a collection of work that is eclectic and illustrates my abilities and the skills of the photographer, equally.
