I am a full time hobbyist photographer and am fascinated by how light can be manipulated and bent. As an artist I am completely rubbish so I thought why paint or draw it when you can capture an image? Easier said than done so I have spent the last few years practicing, playing and learning all that I can.
I really enjoy technical shoots where experimenting with light is involved and love trying different and new things. I want to try avoid the stereotypical men's mags shots, and try make images that are more captivating and stir emotions.
What do I look for in a model?
Something different, it could be a well defined body, different color hair, eyes that shout hello or very long legs.
Vibrancy - A photo of a dull cardboard box or a bright yellow lemon? Even though the lemon is sour it provokes my emotions, I want a look that provokes.
Personality, believe it or not your personality will ooze into the camera. If you are sulky and withdrawn chances are you are not going to end up looking good no matter what I do, even Photoshop has its limits. If you are bubbly, fun and love living life then your up next, read no further just use the contact me now!
Energy, when I am taking photos I want you to be full of it, you are going to need to hold a position and possibly stretch a little but further than normal.
