The visable spectrum is defined as the portion of the electromagnetic spectrum that is detectable by the human eye. I think the visual spectrum is the infinite combination of color, light and form that can be detected, contemplated, appreciated, imagined and felt by the larger and greater organ, the brain. Emotive images that cause you not just to look, but to feel and empathize with the person or situation displayed is the goal I strive to achieve.
