I'm a Cosmetologist and owner of Goddess to Go! a mobile beauty business based in Boulder, Colorado. I love doing character work and I have a penchant for Victorian and Pinup styles. I have a talent for glamor makeup and latex appliance effects and I enjoy trying new things. One of my recent projects featured a Zombie bride and her groom/victim, for example. Weddings, Bridal showers and photoshoots are my bread and butter.
I have 14 years of experience in theater and music, during which I've done hair and make-up for every production that I've ever been involved in and only recently decided to make an active effort at making that my profession.
Generally, I specialize in natural hair with enhancements added into it. This means braids with extensions, hairstyles with appliances(beads, ribbons, foam, feathers etc.) and hair pieces.
I have background education with both glamor make-up, effects and theater styles. I'm educated in appliance (foam latex for creature effects) technologies. Given at least 1-2 weeks of lead time, I can produce larger effects(5"+ wounds, or "broken bones"), provided that I can work with the model at least one week prior to when the effect is needed.
My recent projects include a Victorian romance novel(written and shot by Jenn LeBlanc), complete with scars, wounds and various burns over lovely Victorian stylings, a Zombie themed "wreck the dress" complete with broken bones and a gaping neck wound and an anti-bullying campaign featuring ~10 kids in various states of distress(hair and mua).
My goal is to supplement my craft in hair and make-up design and to continue my education in this amazing field. I love enhancing the beauty of this world and working with people who share my love of photography and art.
