About me
I got my start in modeling about three years ago when a friend of mine became interested in photography and needed a model. The first shoot we did together won a "Prettiest Eyes" award in an online photo contest. Shortly after, a woman I went to college with started an underwear line called Shesho Designs and needed models for her runway shows and print ads. I became one of the faces of Shesho and continue to work with this line today.
I am a creative spirit that seeks to find art in all aspects of life. I have big eyes that betray my secrets. I studied women's issues in college and am a strong, independent female with focus and drive. I am a music journalist that thrives on late nights and rock stars. Three of my fashion icons are M.I.A., Lady Gaga, and Barbarella. I am a dancer and have developed my own style of dance that I like to call Latin Pop. I dance and sing in a local pop act called Lisa Dank and the White Widows, where I perform as alter ego, BK Sparkle. I am addicted to the thrill of being on stage and in front of a camera. I hope that the Model Mayhem site will bring me the opportunity to connect with other artists.
