About me

This is the profile that I use for work that is tagged 18+. I'm most interested in the formal qualities of the nude but I'm finding that I want to go a bit further and show more context and psychology. That is, I don't want the photo to be only about how the viewer feels when seeing the nude, but also how the model (we imagine) feels in the moment represented by the photo. The interesting thing is that I don't know what that is. But I know it when I see it.

I recently purchased a 40+ year old Graflex 4x5 camera. It tries my patience, but I love it. I have some outdated Polaroid Type55 that seems to solarize without much provocation. I want to use the few shots I have left for nudes, a la Man Ray.
