Greetings fellow MM'ers, and thank you for visiting my profile.

My name is Fernando and I'm a photographer in Bethany, Oregon, which is a suburb of Portland.

Photography has been a lifelong passion, and I am always pursuing to capture the perfect picture. I've been interested in photography ever since I was a little boy. From an early age, I was lucky to have had a father that is a photographer, and he taught me the tricks of the trade and how to use the camera to its full potential and most of all, how to use lighting. I can also remember that when I was a little, I would look at the pictures in the National Geographic Magazine and was always impressed with their beauty. It's only now that I have taken the steps to do what I've always wanted to do, and that’s to be a photographer. The thing that I love about photography that it is a continuous learning experience.

My main focus for many years has been to capture nature and cityscapes. Lately, I have been interested to work with people, and I am hoping that with Model Mayhem, I may be able to meet great talent in the industry. I am looking to network with as many people as possible to exchange ideas and to work with.

I would prefer outdoor shoots in places like forests, parks, abandoned buildings and such (weather permitting). This would be the best as I can envision mixing nature with beauty, in which I think it is the best combination. But, if you rather do indoor shoot, we can do that as well.

I am familiar with Photoshop to edit my images, and I will then retouch the photographs if I think that is necessary, but if you would rather keep them natural, then that is what we will do.

I hope this site can help us grow in our fields of expertise.
