Hey, I'm having a metal gig tonight at Live Bar (68 Hobson Street) and need some "promo girls" to help sell raffle tickets for some prizes we're going to give out. Do you want to help out? If you do, we're meeting (helpers and bands) at 6pm, but if not, the gig starts at 8p.m., costs $10 and is R18 :)
If you want to help you get in for free, and you're free to bring friends to help out too. It would be unpaid work, and all the proceeds from the door sales, and a slide of the bar money once it reaches a certain point will be donated to help the victims of the Samoan tsunami. We've already raised $1088.50 from other stuff. I will be photographing and videoing the event so there may be some time for some photos you can use if you want. You always get extra kudos for doing charity work so it'd be good for a portfolio :D
