About MeHi, welcome to my profile!
My photography work has been put on somewhat of a side track for the time being, due to my involvement in Television Production, editing and videography. I have been working for a sports production (Burgundy & Gold Magazine), a Fashion News show (DMV Fashion News & Events Show) and several other video productions for the DMV metro area.
I will still, in very limited form, consider collaborations on a TFCD basis, especially when I feel I can use that photo shoot in one of the video productions. Inbox me if you're interested. Thank you!
Furthermore, if you got here because of a comment I left you, please do NOT feel obligated to reciprocate. Most comments I leave for others are unsollicitated and spontaneous expression of my admiration for their work, ONLY because I think it is deserved, NOT to collect comments myself ;-)
Although I love to have "friends", please do not add me as a friend without at least leaving me a comment, a tag or a message. How can I be your friend if I don't even know what you like? Thanks!!
My name is Robert and I am a (Dutch) passionate part time photographer, living in the DC area, who has always found ways to express my creativity through my photography. However, I have come to a point where I want to branch out and diversify and expand my portfolio with model shoots in studio, urban fashion and/or night strobist sessions. I have a standing permission to do shoots at the Washingtonian Center in Gaithersburg, so if you're a model in that area and you want some shots there, let me know. Same goes for any model interested in DC night shots, I have tons of ideas for those.
Asking strangers to pose for me, using our son as a model and doing self portraits leaves only so many different shots.
I am open for limited TFCD sessions with models, male or female who can bring something extra to my portfolio. Just send me an email to discuss. If any MUA in the area needs a photog for one of their projects, send me a shout to see if I can help you out.
Participants in any TFCD sessions will ALWAYS get HiRes copies on CD, edited if so desired. I respect the time and effort you bring to the table and this is the least I can do.
For any shoot I will always credit all involved when posting a photo (models, MUAs, wardrobe, etc) and I expect the same courtesy in return. Isn't that why we're all here?
I'm also very experienced in digital post editing, although I always try to keep my photos as close as possible to the original shot, I have experimented with composites and photoshop trickery a lot. (Example in my portfolio)
