I am pretty new to portrait photography. For the past 20 years I have photographed nature subjects, mostly landscapes and birds. Recently, I have wanted to expand into portrait photography.
This is a hobby for me, one that I am very passionate about. I am a self taught photographer and spend as much time practicing shooting as I do reading up on techniques. At this point, I can't pay very much, about $20/ hour, this is negotiable, but I can also do TFCD if you like the photos.
I would like to concentrate on portraits and possibly glamour non-nudes. I have been able to photograph a couple of friends, one being for her engagement photos. I am wanting to experiment doing portraits in near infrared to see how they turn out.
Thanks for looking at my profile and portfolio. I appreciate any critiques and check out my website for more photographs.
Hey Joseph! Just wanted to thank you for listing my photo of Whitnee. There's nothing like affirmation from another photographer once in a while, and I really do appreciate it!
Keep up the great work.

Good start to your portfolio. Don't be afraid to get in closer to shoot tighter images. This gets rid of a lot of the distractions around your subject. Most of all, shoot, then shoot, then shoot some more. All the best for the future.
