KRISTY LYNN MAHONâs BIO:
Upon the recommendation of a professional sports agent, Kristy Lynn Mahon started shooting with a local photographer whom entered her into a local pageant in East Texas to gain experience in front of a camera. She won the title and will be participating in the Miss Texas International in March 2010. During her reign as Miss Gulf Coast so far, she has gained much more than experience. The 27 year-old, blonde beauty walked away with modeling jobs, fashion show casting calls and a lot of charity work! She is hoping to captured that coveted title of Miss Texas as well as work as a model of the next year. She is currently doing local events and benefits all over Texas.
Kristy is focused, athletic, talented, bright, and disciplined. Her goals are to become a Emergency Medicine Nurse Practicioner after working as a nurse for a couple of years. She has a passion for the arts as well, and loves modeling and fashion. She is hoping to make her name as a beauty, glamour and spokesmodel. It seems highly likely that she will achieve both goals. She expects her pageant experiences will further develop her poise and people skills, which will serve her well when she is in the public eye as a model and medical professional.
Kristy loves sports, especially hockey, football and baseball games, as well as Nascar, and horse racing. Kristy is an adrenaline junkie and loves all things that are challenging and exciting. She enjoys boating, water sports and sunbathing, and running. Yoga and pilates are her new favorite hobbies and she has the body to prove it!
Kristy is your typical girl next door with a passion for helping other and a strong will to make an impact on peopleâs lives. She has contributed to her community by participating in American Cancer society walks/ runs, Armed forces sprint, relay marathon, fashion shows for charities such as the Humane Society, speaking for the NCCC (National Cervical Cancer Coalition), making food bags for the needy, and involving herself with many other organizations and churches.
The love and support of a strong family give Kristy the impetus to succeed and even exceed her own goals. With a solid foundation of strong moral values and self-confidence instilled in her by her parents, she would like to use her new position as Miss Gulf Coast to encourage children to become aware of their personal worth and to inspire them to reach their full potential in life. Kristy urges the next generation to set personal goals, to stay true to their values.
