About me
I am an amateur photographer in St. Louis, Missouri. I have been doing "portrait" work lately, and I am anxious to both expand my body of work and assist aspiring models in expanding their own portfolios. In this spririt, I am happy to do TFP/CD.
From a philosophical standpoint, my goal is to capture the natural beauty of my subjects, rather than attempt to create an illusion of beauty as I think many of my colleagues do. Not that I don't respect illusion and fantasy as a legitimate artistic expression, it's simply not where I am right now. I encourage my models to allow me to capture what is real about them, whether or not the image conforms to popular or conventional notions of what is appealing. Having said that, however, I am flexible and happy to discuss, accomodate, and accomplish the artistic goals of my models as well. The people with whom I have worked find me mature, down to earth, respectful, and collaborative.
