Fascinating insigh. I'd love to read or hear one of your lectures on amurai culture. Perhaps how it canged and adapted after 1865 when japan wasforced to open to foriegn trade since around 1600.
Anyway I hope to explore modernazation of the Samurai code of ethics in a contempoary context through writings and paintings later this year. Thanks for incredibly inriguing ideas.
