About me

Hello! I really want to take your picture. I want to take it in medium format and 35mm and Polaroid and then I want to stare at all the pictures with you and then take some more and then snack a lot. I do not want this to be stressful.

I don’t really plan my shoots out – I find somewhere pretty, preferably with really magical natural light, set up my cameras and film and make a day of it. Doesn’t that sound like the perfect way to spend an afternoon? I’ve been taking pictures of the same (wonderful!) model for just about ever and some new faces would be…new. And nice!

I’ve been featured on the Impossible Project and a handful of other sites for my work with instant films which should at least sort of validate my work and assure you that I likely won’t take you out into the woods and kill you, if only for the sake of my public image. I'm also a staff contributor for the fine art photography magazine Fixation Magazine.

Hopefully I’m getting across what I’m about. Which is not being stressed, mostly. Not being stressed and spending days with lots of sun and film and all that romanticized lovely stuff.
