About MeI am trying to shoot a lot more and increase my database of models. If I have sent you a friend request, it's because I would really like to work with you.
Hello and thanks for taking a look at my portfolio. I hope you like what you see. I have been shooting seriously since about 2007. I have been shooting off and on since I was 14. This is not my real job, it's just the thing that keeps me sane. It's amazing how you can condense your world down to a 3" screen. I would shoot every day if I could, even if it was for an hour during the middle of the week.
As I said, this is my hobby, but I take it very seriously. I prefer to shoot TFP, but have been known to hire models depending on rates.
I have a small studio in my home which is where I like to shoot. It's pretty basic, but it gets the job done for me.
So if you are interested in shooting with me, I would love to talk to you about it. I do have some basic rules, though:
1.) You have to be flexible (personally mostly, but physically doesn't hurt :)). Often times, my ADD will kick in and I will go off on some random tangent. I like to experiment.
2.) You have to be collaborative. I think of any shoot as a partnership, and I love to bounce ideas back and forth. If you have an idea, throw it out there.
3.) When you contact me to shoot, be prepared to answer a few questions. Mostly, what type of music, food, and drinks you like. I am in the hospitality business, so I have an unhealthy need to make sure all of my guests are happy!
4.) My sense of humor can be a little dry and obscure. I never mean to offend, but if I do, please speak up. I never take it personally.
5.) I am a giant nerd. Be prepared to do some kind of set that may involve superheroes, sci-fi, video games, or the like.
I hope we can shoot together soon.
CreditsTo all of the models who have let me twist them into pretzels, cover them in paint, or get them soaking wet. I hope I did you justice.
Most of all, to my amazing wife and favorite model, who bought me my first camera and only said "You want to do what?!" when I told her.
