Capturing that spark of life that warms our hearts or makes us remember details sometimes forgotten is the quest of this photographer. It's what turns a photograph into a moment frozen in time.
I am a competent and experienced photographer, familiar with many different styles. I generally provide digital images on CD which are suitable for personal and promotional use. If prints are required please make that known up front.
Building a good working relationship with you the model is important to me as I am not here for just one shoot but desire to work with you for many years to come.
I have had over 15 years experience in photography of various sorts such as nature, sports, special events, wedding, portraiture, runway, and night club.
Although I do accept "TF" work, paid work does come first for my clients.
A basic portfolio session lasts approximately two hours.
I am available for location, event, family, wedding, baby, fashion and editorial work as well as product photography. Rates for this type of work vary with location, time required, and use rights desired. You will find my rates reasonable and my work professional.
Chaperons are welcomed and encouraged to accompany those modeling. However, they are required to be quiet and respectful while the shoot is going on.
I generally have a female assistant at all photo shoots.
Models must sign releases. No exceptions.
I do not do nude or full-body high glamour work with models. No exceptions. I will require a copy of your drivers license or other proof of age before beginning any glamour shoot.
I do not give out full-session RAW or untouched image files. No exceptions. If you want to do your own retouching, individual source images may be available on an as-negotiated basis.
Under studio lighting glitter makeup has the look as glowing brightly and can have a very unpleasant look. So I ask that you DO NOT wear any glitter makeup unless we have discussed this ahead of time.
I highly recommend makeup artists for all modeling work. Models are encouraged to get one, even if it's just a friend who can help you. If you've never done makeup for photography before, be aware that a somewhat heavier makeup than you might wear casually is often appropriate.

Now that I've stated all that business let's talk about the fun stuff that you are wanting to get into!
Photography is my passion and I endeavor to capture those images that show the personality or feeling from deep inside.
Be playful... be sad... be quirky... be animated... be dark... be colorful... be YOURSELF.
You are welcome to bring music to play during the shoot.
Bring your fun clothes and accessories to the shoot. Talk with me about what you have always wanted to do in a shoot and let's work from there in finding the right location/setting.
A final thought... Remember to just have fun in the moment in front of the camera! Act your part in the show or simply let what you are feeling inside to come out to be captured in print.
