I am so happy to find such a great site with so much great talent! I would love to get to know and collaborate with fellow hair/make-up artists, as well as wardrobe stylists, Photographers and models.

.... I am equally versed in hair and make-up, not flakey, and on time!

My comercial day rate for hair and make-up is $600-$800. Photo shoots are from $400.00 depending hours, travel, (damn gas hike) and how elaborate or complex the shoot. I will do unpaid shoots for good tear sheets in fashion, beauty, or celebrity publications. I will  considder test shoots to get to know a photographer, and I am always building my book! Tests must be with a model from a credible agency, or have the look of one.  At this time I would like to add more men to my book, and some great beauty shots.

Melody White is a versatile Los Angeles based hair and make-up artist whose work can be seen in almost all forms of media. From print, film, video, commercials, fashion, as well as the most creative hair salons in the Los Angeles area.

Melody brings15 years of experience as a licensed cosmetologist, and  advanced training in beauty, editorial, historical, and special effects make-up to her award winning work.

Melody has worked with such talents as Chris Farley, Julie Delphy, Doug Stanhope, Sarah Ivanhoe, Chris Gore, The Eels, Jeff Ross, Cindy Ambuehl, Lori Petty, Richie Sambora and Mark Romanek.
