Dodging Bullets while capturing new life and life passing and continually seeking the complexities of human nature on camera.

Let me start off saying, I'm working into the still world a bit backwards. You see I've been working in the motion picture business for that last 5 years. My last gig was for Time Mag. to go behind enemy lines in Juarez, Mexico and find untold stories.

So I sold my film camera that I purchased while receiving my BA at Brooks Film and Photography and bought a Cannon 5d.

It was in Juarez, while witnessing a major cartel bust, is where I learned the power of the still Image. There I was standing before a mother who had just lost her son to the violence and with one click of the shutter I was able to capture everything I needed.

After making it back from the a life changing experience I've been transfixed by the still world.

I'm first a story teller and director before I'm a camera man. I'm currently working Still and Video for the upcoming winter olympics. I'm fascinated with bringing a since realism to studio photography.

As long as I'm telling a story and crafting in photoshop I'll be a happy photographer.
