I am Monica of Potential Hair and Makeup. I am a Hair Stylist, Makeup Artist and Stylist located in the city of Fremont,CA. I travel all over California doing hair, makeup and wardrobe for private events and shoots. My passion for hair and makeup artistry started at a young age and has been an on going obsession ever since.
I am certified through The Paul Mitchell , Vidal Sassoon Academy, The Makeup Institute, Pravana, Redken, MVROP Fashion Merchandising and licensed through the State Board of Cosmetology. I am continuously taking advance courses on the latest hair trends and studying the history of fashion, hair styles and makeup from every decade in the 19th and 20th Century. Hair and Makeup artistry is a given talent, however it is always a plus to be on top of the latest trends. I was born for this business. I continue to excel in the field of artistry by opening myself to new thoughts and ideas.I work and provide on location talent for Fashion, the Entertainment Industry, as well as private events. I am trained in color theory and have had many experiences in much photographic work under all lighting conditions. I have the innate ability to bring out the natural beauty of my subject, no matter the gender, ethnicity or character portrayal. I am available for Editorials, Photo Shoots, Weddings, Catalogs, Runway, Video, Television, Film & Private Events. I am available for all of your photography needs. I enjoy mastering every detail of the most flawless natural hair, makeup, the most intense, dramatic, and artistic looks.
Everyone has the potential to look, feel and be anything they want. I have an amazing portfolio that I have been working on for a long time and I would love to add on to it. Media photography presents Monica Nasiri with the opportunity to be corrective, as well as creative, in the use of proper makeup selection and application. Monica Nasiri possesses a thorough understanding of light and the science of skin. Our Bay Area makeup artist has a "good eye" for color. Whether for print or runway, fashion and editorial makeup application must be creative, yet appropriate for the purpose to be served. Suitable for the savvy “San Francisco market”, yet flexible enough for an even more sophisticated audience, fashion / editorial makeup must be creatively applied with an “edge” to help either the photographer/advertiser, or the event coordinator, set the desired tone and mood.

Every actor and model appreciates the importance of an excellent head shot. As an artist specializing in print photography makeup, Monica works with several photographers and agencies. Together they are able to naturally enhance the talent and create marketable imagery for each cleint.
BRIDAL:
I work with my bridal clients to create a highly individual makeup and hair "look" that is completely customized in nature. I listen closely to my client, determine her tastes, and make suggestions that will be most effective for her. Before applying any products, I carefully consider all her attributes, including an assessment of type and tone of skin, shape of face, overall physical appearance, color and shape of gown or dress and/or veil, the color and arrangement of carried flowers, physical location of the event (interior or exterior), artificial or natural light, time of day, type and duration of the event, the bride’s planned activities, and, of course, the bride’s customs, religious strictures, and family traditions. Together, we will achieve a final look that is natural, flattering, and, perhaps most important, ideally suited to recording on film and video. After the wedding day, your precious memories survive only via these media. My sole aim is to make those memories a visual joy that lasts forever.
