Hey everyone
If you dont already know me my name is Therese and im a sydney based make-up and hairstylist. I entered a international make-up competition a year ago before i was properly experienced and i am one of 3 gurls who are in the finalists from 20,000 entries around the world and my work is published in emake-up international magazine and for me that was my biggest inspirational boost.


I found out my dream job back in 2006 when i was inspired by emotions and manipulations of different looks and what i can portray onto paper and onto a person's skin and their appearance.
I enjoyed visual arts and design at a young age and then i decided to turn that interest into a passion when i had used make-up to transform a human emotion onto skin for my Major Body of Work in year 12 and after recieving my results i turned that common interest into my passion.



I get inspired in everyday reality by just waking up in the morning and looking around either inside or out and then i improvise my work when i get the inspiration but as to me everyday i do make-up is my only inspiration.



People think make-up is just a job but its not, when i do make-up i am in my moment and it only comes from the heart and if i dont believe it comes from the heart i would not be accomplishing this gift in reality.

As alot of my close friends and family already know i like to take things to the extreme when it comes to my work and how i do it. I am capable of of the basic strategys of make-up but because i consider myself very artistic i have an imagination which i like to take to the extreme which once again also comes from my heart. I am the type of person which likes to take a risk and is not afraid of a challenge and can work under pressure. I dont believe that i am a competitive person because i believe that eveyone in this trade has their own style and imagination so being competitive is out of the question.



People think that there is not much to make-up but glady i can show them through my work and my words that there is more to make-up then people may think. Just by viewing make-up photos and watching it being done and also by having it done you can realise the hard work and talent that goes into one appearance of a make-up.

Overall through this experience i would love to see myself extending this talent overseas and working with the big guns and i hope to launch my own make-up brand by the time im 21 years of age and if my hard work and support pays off i may have a chance.
