About me
Hello! My name is Jari and I am 18 years old. Studying Media full time at Flinders and modelling for the fun of it. I did a 16 week modelling course through Tanya Powell Model Agency in 2009.
It is my aim, intention and desire to help photographers create amazing photos at worst, and prefer to make freaking awesome amazing stunning photos that make you go WOW! I am always prepared, and am ALWAYS there on time to shoot or usually early. I'm not scared to crawl around in the dust, dirt, grass, water, you get the idea. What to paint me in charcoal? Go wild, sounds like fun to me!
I look forward to being able to work with some of the great photographers on here and continue to expand my portfolio.
Ideas for shoots I'd like to do:
- Something a wet, rainy setting, maybe in a garden or something when raining... Not good for cameras... I love the rain though.
-I'm a bit of a tomboy, so if you want me to break out the camo pants, I will!
-Something to do with bubbles...or bubblewrap... (not as clothes though!)
-Teddy bears! I have quite a collection that can be used. :D
-Something a bit gothic, but a bit different as well...oooh candy goth?
Just some foundations, any photographers more than welcome to build on that. As far as industry styles go, I'm up for anything really.
How I feel about glamour and nude photography: I am presently starting to experiment with glamour photos and am comfortable enough with my body to do nudes. However, to me nude photos should be about the work of art that a human body is, as opposed to a purely sexual object, as I've seen in many nude photos. Please write to me with your ideas, and if I like them, then let's shoot. But please don't be offended if I try and compromise with you, or say no. I like saying yes, really I do.
I am happy to come to shoots alone as long there have been no red flags in our communication, happy to meet up with photographers prior to a shoot to discuss ideas in person, happy to sign model release forms.
Up for TF* for awesome ideas, concepts and photographers!!! Paid work fully appreciated of course. Payment doesn't have to be in money; as a uni student food, clothes, make up, shoes, petrol and anything else useful is a great help!
