About Me

A hundredth of a second here, a hundredth of a second there - even if you put them end to end, they still only add up to one, two, perhaps three seconds, snatched from eternity.
Robert Doisneau

My father gave me a Pentax camera age 14 and a book published by magnum “The concerned photographer.” This was my introduction to the work of such photographers as Robert Capa, Andre Kertesz and Werner Bichof. Their work inspired in him a passion for the camera. He decided to dedicate himself to a life in photography.
At age 21 I landed a job as assistant to Bill King and was the assistant studio manger to Bill Conners & Joseph Santoro. I also did Printing for famous photographers such as Arnold Newmen, Stan Scheffer And as result I subsequently immersed myself in black and white photography.
In the late seventies, I moved to Paris landing jobs with French and Italian Conde Nast and numerous other magazines publishers ..
Today I am categorize As a surliest Strong influence From Czech Hungarian movement in photography from the 1920/30 and With out a breath in between ........Man Ray...
I remain firmly committed to my art and still live, works, and plays in New York City.
