My name is Cat, and I am a recent graduate of the Visual Arts program at York University.
I am deeply passionate about art, intending to continue into graduate studies to be an artistic director. In practice, I am a mixed media artist with focus in painting, photography and sculpture.
Modeling has been of interest to me for several years, the camera has the ability to create fantasies and narratives using landscapes of our daily lives and augmenting them through various photographic techniques.
I enjoy working behind the camera as much as I enjoy modelling, my focus in University was partially analog photography. I work with a Pentax K1000 SLR and a Canon Rebel T1.
As a model, I have worked mainly in modeling for my own artistic projects and am currently looking to expand my portfolio and collaborate with photographers in creating art.
Despite moderate experience in modelling, my background in photography compensates through my approach to image making and posing. I have a very keen eye for colour, light and form.
I am very engaged, open minded and interested in almost every aspect of the photographic arts. In addition, I have over fifteen years of theatrical experience (from high-school performances and previous), and I look forward to working with fellow models and photographers from this site in the near future!
