Over the course of my 23-year photography career, I've been fortunate to have worked with some truly exceptional models. Although I used to do spreads for fitness magazines, I found that shooting the same old exercise routines was a poor outlet for creativity and experimentation. I'd much rather work outside the gym.
My goal has always been to create an image where the beauty of the human body can be balanced against its surroundings, whether that be an awe-inspiring natural backdrop or the dance of light and shadow across the body in a studio setting. But in actuality, I just think muscle is cool!
When it's warm outside, I like to shoot all over the desert Southwest as well as the various islands of Hawai'i or whevever there are great natural backdrops to use as stages for a stunning physique. When it's not warm, you'll find me in the studio.
These days I'm currently doing artistic/fine art photography, creating material for photography related websites, and shooting for model's portfolios.
