firstlight Photography

Thanks for viewing!  I'm a fine art and semi-professional photographer based in Tipp City, OH (Dayton).  I've been involved with photography since my early teens, worked for a commercial photographer, shot for talent agencies, and have worked in marketing communications for over 25 years.

My main interest is fashion, lifestyle, artistic, headshots, beauty, environmental portraits with a urban, industrial, grafitti look, and developing model portfolos.  I'm primarily looking for paid assignments with some select TFCD work.

Some photographers that I draw my people photography inspiration from are Richard Avedon (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richard_Avedon), Annie Leibovitz, Robert Farber, Arnold Newman, and Irving Penn, and Greg Gorman.

I'm easy going, relaxed, and patient and have an interactive style that brings out the best in people and incorporates the model's ideas into a creative photo session.
