now based in chicago after a good long run in NY.
i like mellow shoots with imagination...it took a long time to realize this, sometimes it's just better to ease the make up, take down a light, mess up the hair, model less, forget an accessory, or stop to think.

typically get models from agencies and work with stylists i have a history with, but interested in model mayhem as a source for talent that might be a bit more flexible and casual and help with a project now and then.  sometimes it's nice to just make pictures and there's a lot of good people on here...

I've done editorial and covers for such magazines as Blackbook, Nylon, And Men, Women's Wear Daily, NME, Venus, Lemon, Space Between, Fused, Chicago Magazine, Noi.se and Naked Eye photographing fashion and personalities.
