A great photo shoot consists of many things: number one a great photographer with amazing vision, and an aura that invites other terrific professionals to feed off of their energy and create a fantastic image. Vision, however is key. One shouldn't expect to have a wonderful hairstylist, makeup artist, wardrobe stylist, or model just come in and create magic without the direction of the photographer; those professionals, if they are directing the project, shouldn't expect magic from the photographer either, if they've given him/ her no path on which to travel creatively. Everyone's tastes vary, as do everyone's motives, and if everyone isn't on the same page, no one will be satisfied.

With that said, my name is Spikey Love, I am a hairstylist, and I am looking to collaborate with any and all creative and motivated professionals on this website. I work at the Patricia Field salon, and I freelance as a hairstylist for My Spa 2 Go, and for myself. My work has been featured on the Patricia Field website, the New York Post, Time Out Magazine, and I've done plenty of TF work as well as fashion shows, weddings, Bar & Bat Mitzvah parties, and the like. We're all out here struggling to stay true to ourselves as creative beings and pay bills. This website is to help us connect and build teams for different purposes through trial and error. There isn't always going to be chemistry amongst professionals, but that shouldn't be frowned upon as time wasted; it should be taken as a lesson learned, and we should use it to grow and become better. In the meantime...
