Ethos Art has been my passion for as long as I can remember and it's still the most important thing to me when I'm working. I will never describe myself as an (insert genre here) photographer and I do not shoot to formulas. I believe that all photography should be artistic and memorable, whether it's for a magazine cover, a romantic couple portrait or a model's portfolio.
Style I am passionate about the unusual and unconventional and mostly work in the fields of alternative lifestyles/fashion...gothic, rock, metal, industrial, club, psychadelic, body art/modification, fetish, modern pin-up, alternative glamour, subversive fashion, music promotion, horror etc. I have more than a minor obsession with experimental lighting and maintain that coloured gels are almost always a positive addition to a shoot.

Studio location My studio is on the South side of Edinburgh city centre where Pleasance meets St Leonards Street. There is plenty of pay and display parking and a car park close by for daytime shoots and I am happy to shoot on evenings, weekends and other 'unsociable' hours. My studio and some of my equipment can be hired for £15 per hour or £40 for 3 hours.

I am NOT currently taking bookings for TFP shoots (apart from those relating to specific casting calls) so please do not contact me asking for TFP, especially if I don't know you.
Photography is my job and I do not work for strangers in return for expenses or small token payments so don't embarrass me or yourself by asking. If you want mates rates, ask your mates.
I will shoot sets for submission to most modelling/glamour/fetish sites but I do not shoot for Suicide Girls. Not ever. So don't ask.
Please don't send me messages asking me to hire you for paid work, especially if I don't know you and have never spoken to you before. Violently Beautiful, my first book, is for sale through Blurb.com. There are two versions - the original version (a 7x7 inch paperback) and the deluxe version (an 8x10 inch hardback) - available. Both versions have 80 full-colour pages and contain the same images, spanning the genres of alternative fashion, modern pin-up, fetish, horror, portraiture and conceptual art.
