Karasev Studio

My name is Alexander "Sasha" Karasev; I am a principal photographer at Karasev Studio.

I have practiced photography professionally since 1998 on a part-time basis, and have become a full-time pro in late 2008. I am a member of the American Society of Media Photographers, New York chapter.

My focus to-date has been commercial event and portraiture photography. I would like to develop my fine art and glamour portfolio, moving beyond the constraints of my commercial work. I am counting on the Model Mayhem site to facilitate my creative collaboration with hair stylists, makeup artists, and models.

My near-term photographic goals are:
* City-beautiful: a relationship between Gotham City and human form;
* Implied sexual harassment in the modern white collar workspace;
* Multidimensional nudes;
* Architectural nudes - human form as a perfected physical structure.
