Do you love the art scene here in Tucson? I do! :)
I am a model of nearly 5 years experience, in freelance private shooting, event modeling, figure drawing modeling and fashion/hair/makeup runway shows, in studios and on location, and I have been featured in magazines and books (details below in credits/work experience.) I have A Bachelor's Degree from the Southwest University of Visual Arts. I have five years experience in stage acting. I am best known for my reputation as a plus-size model, but I "re-branded" myself, by losing 6 sizes. I feel great about my new body, and am working hard to improve it even more. Feel free to ask how it's going! :)
Working with me is a great idea if you an amateur, professional, hobbyist, business owner, or even a student. I make sure to keep a clear complexion, a clean-cut appearance, understated, manicured nails, a fresh hair cut and color, regular exercise and healthy diet; I prefer to keep myself as a clean canvas for photographers to use creatively as they choose. My relaxed yet confident stage presence, combined with my posing and emoting skills, produces great results. I am passionate as can be about modeling, and I handle my business in a professional manner, while having a lot of fun and feeling very rewarded by it.
My modifications: Just two...I have a one square-inch tattoo on my right outer ankle and one understated navel ring, that is all, not even any ear piercings. My hair is platinum colored, and I plan on keeping it this way for a long time.
• I am available to meet, work and travel all weekdays and weekend days, from 7 am to 10 pm.
• I do my own pro-quality makeup/hair, have been for four years, and you can see my work in all of my portfolio photos.
• I can provide excellent shooting locations all over town and state, both in studio and outdoors.
• References, ID, resume and rates also available upon request by email.
"Depends On Assignment" means I do both TFP and paid work, under certain conditions.
If you'd like me to model for you...
-For anything containing any kind of nudity,
-For the third time for you,
-When the shoot will not directly benefit my portfolio, and/or
-You have little to no experience shooting models and would like my coaching,
I will be happy to discuss hourly rates. I offer private photo shooting sessions for reasonable rates, which are priced depending on the content of the shoot. Please feel free to contact me with any questions; Rates available upon request.
I do TFP work with:
-Photographers I am shooting with for the very first time,
-High-end photographers for magazine quality photos that will benefit my portfolio,
-Anyone needing a model for photos to promote a business or event or for advertising art, publication, etc.
If you have portfolio pieces that look magazine-quality, or need me to promote your store, magazine, product, etc, chances are I'll drop everything to work with you TFP. :) For TFP that I ask for from you, I will direct and provide wardrobe and makeup art (unless you have any size 8-12 pieces you can lend me, as I know some photographers I work with do, and/or already have a makeup/hair artist you trust who you'd like to have do the makeup art and/or hair) and reference photos, so we can be prepared.
• I may ask questions about your contract, just because I want to make sure I understand the agreement between us, but I've never had a problem signing one to shoot with a photographer. :)
• I do not drive for personal reasons, so one of my responsibilities as a model is to arrange my own transportation, whether by bus, cab, or car. If it is comfortable and not inconvenient for you, I might ask if I may be able to ride with you, if we are shooting on location outdoors. Usually I can get to studio locations by bus.
Any questions? Feel free to ask, I'm an open book. I hope to work with you! :)
I have been an official model for Arizona Photo Events for 5 years.
I have walked the runway...
for Circus: The Greatest Hair and Makeup Show on Earth, by the Aveda Institute.
for the Pima Community College Spring 2013 fashion show "Once Upon A Time",
and for Indo Cotton, in the "Beauty of the Nations" show, at the Javelina Cantina, at the Doubletree Hotel.
