Now to our regularly scheduled program...
Simply put, I love photography. I am inspired by art and the artistic alike. I read that "great photographers capture the intersection of time, place and action. The result is a freeze-frame of occurances and the timeless recording of an instant, a golden moment of imtimacy between the photographer and the subject that enlightens our future and heartens us to care about out past. The moment is emotional, it's close, and it's impact helps us receive what the image can tell us about ourselves".
That pretty much sums it up for me. I want create art that is not defined by a time or a culture but helps define them. I love creative people and I surround myself with positive, progressive, open minded people. People like myself.
In America, the photographer is not simply the person who records the past, but the one who invents it.
