I started "modeling" (aka mugging) for my mother at the age of 4. She was going through a camera-happy stage, and I was more than willing to oblige by smiling and striking any number of poses whenever I saw her lense aimed at me. Nothing really came of it until I was photographed for a (sadly now defunct) portrait studio's display in my home town at the age of 9. I avoided any and all cameras through puberty (my awkwardness and shyness wouldn't let me feel comfortable), and didn't even think about modeling until I reached 18 and made friends with some of the local art students in my home town. People kept on telling me "You're so skinny! You should model!" and I hated it, until one day I was idly searching through craigslist (I know, I know) and came across what actually looked like a legitimate modeling gig.
I met and talked with the photographer and his wife, and wound up working with them for a few shoots, had a blast, and haven't looked back since. I haven't done a lot of shoots, but I've loved the few I've been a part of, and look forward to more opportunities to mug for the camera.
(As much as I'd love to work with a lot of the photographers that contact me, my location and finances don't let me get to many shoots. Unless you're serious about working out a gig that's worth my travel and time, I can't work with you for the moment. I'm very sorry)
My hair color changes pretty frequently. It's been everything from my natural color (blonde) to hot pink and bright blue. I don't have a problem changing it if it's not what you're looking for. I also have my lip pierced, and can take it out or leave it in as you like.
