My name is James. I tend to like things a little on the dark side, a little creepy, sometimes or most usually with an element of kink, but my tastes have been changing. I truly enjoy coming up with unique ideas with models and then trying to match what we've come up with. My art blog right now has about 12 sets of photos, but going forward will contain the body of my work, open to criticism and of course comments. The point of the blog is for other photographers to get an idea what I was trying to accomplish in the photo and match that statement to the photo itself.
Recently I have been playing with low level lighting and light fall off. So regardless of what I am shooting, or who, these are ideas I am trying to incorporate to get better at my craft.
Ideally what I would like to do with my work is to make prints and to have a gallery showing. If I thought I would use a photo I took of you for that showing, I would contact you and ask to see if you approve before I used it. That is just the way I am. I am not in this to make people unhappy. I want the people I photograph to feel great about their work with me, and proud of the images we create.

***PLEASE NOTE***
I mostly shoot TFP and here is why. I do not make money off the photos I take, I have a career that pays the bills, I have an awful schedule. I don't get to shoot as often as I would like. When I do shoot, it is usually with someone who I am collaborating on an idea with and I am not going to give that person just one or two photos. I will release any photo to someone I have shot with so long as I am proud of it. I think that is fair, if I don't like it, you probably won't either.
I will not make you drive 50 miles or so on your own dime to shoot with me. If you are far away and want to work with me, we can figure something out. I often offer to pick up breakfast or lunch for my models. My reason is two fold. #1 If we are doing something that involves bondage, I want to make sure that you aren't low blood sugar and ready to shoot. #2 It gives us a chance to get to know each other a little bit. The type of bondage I shoot you need to trust the person, and it is always better when you know the person, because you have a better understanding.
There are a bunch of models out there that I want to work with so badly I would definitely pay them (If I had to), just because I would like to say that I worked with so and so...at least one time.
Please don't email me saying you want to work with me, talk to me about what we are going to do, and then hit me with your rates after we set up a date and time, that's just not right.
