Friend Requests: Please introduce yourself first through a message. I'm friendly, I promise; I just want to make sure that you're not a friend collector. Friend requests without a message will remain untouched, unless I personally know you.
Just say hi, that's all it takes.
Rates: I do TFP/TFCD, depending on if I'm doing film or digital. I do both, but I work with digital a lot more.
Tell me if you'd like RAW format before we shoot, and if you'd prefer unprocessed images I'll gladly provide them. Sometimes I use heavy processing, sometimes I use none, but I always keep originals in tact.
Equipment:
Canon 20D with an 17-85mm EFS Lens
Minolta Maxxum 7000 with a 50mm lens
I have access to a decent light kit with colored gels, I usually prefer natural light.
My space to shoot indoors is limited, because I rent a room and am not a millionaire. I make up for it in creativity.
Other services: I have a wacom tablet and photoshop, and can clean up images for you. If we've shot the images together, it's free. If I didn't shoot them, it's still very cheap. If you're not happy with them, I won't charge.
My partner and I do candid event photography separately from this. Note this does not mean formal wedding portaiture. Contact me here for more information if you're interested or would like to see examples. We shoot for close to nothing and are very willing to negotiate for print credit or exposure for ourselves.
My experience:
I worked for a school portraiture company for two seasons, have been doing event photography for three years and am always looking to learn more through classes and experience!
I've done portraiture with friends and family on the side for a long time, and so my camera-side manner is friendly and slightly informal. I find that it's better, because expressions tend to be more genuine and the subject is free to contribute to the final project.
I don't pretend to be an expert, but will take any project I have seriously and do the absolute best I'm capable of.
Hope to see you at the studio, and get to hang out with you more on other occasions!

You blossom each and every year! Thank you for all your hard work on The Naked Desert this year! It was so much fun working with you, shooting with you and shooting the $hit with you too!
I am working on a gallery showing in the near future, as well as an official screening of the "documentary" with Piddle Productions, so start processing images, cause you'll need to have one printed for the Gallery Showing/Cast Party!
Thank you for this weekend! Thank you for everything.
See you sooner rather than later!

It was a total pleasure meeting you Jen and thank you for your help with the shoot. I was completely serious about assisting for you so if you think I'd be of any help all you need to do is ask.

To the friends on my MM friend's list, I'm shooting some new personal work, if you want to pose for me (including models, photographers, MUA, and Stylists) in the southern california area, check out my latest casting calls
Thanks for the photo comment, I think that we have a great deal of similarities in our ambitions and values with photography. I most enjoy making images which are artistic, but also technically executed and commercially viable. That shot was from either my first or second ever studio portrait shoot, while I was at school. I normally hate shots with painted canvas pbackgrounds, but this is only because many photographers just flat-light them.
