A decendent in a long lineage of pirates, bootleggers and garden-variety toublemakers, A. Leia Anderson shockingly displayed, from a yound age, an interest in all that was pink, sparkly and full of win. Her interest in beauty first manifested itself in her torturing her mother, coercing her nightly to roll Leia's hair with pink foam rollers. Every. Single. Night.
In 2004, Leia enrolled in the prestigous Oceanside College of Beauty to discover the arcane mysteries of esthetics from the school's ninja beauty master instructors. Her training was comparable only to that of "The Bride" by Pai Mei in Kill Bill vol. 2. Cut the katana and ninja stars and insert shears and a blow dryer! After killing it in the State Board Exam, Leia went off in search of a Salon in which to practice her craft. She soon found herself under the tutelage of Ashley Gil at the Salon de Ville. After concluding that this tutelage more resembled indentured servitude, Leia quested on over the next three years to work with both The Haircutters in Oceanside and The Haircut Store in Encinitas. In these salons, she gained experience and further honed her skills in clipper cuts and efficient, consistant work. In 2008, Leia joined The House of Hair in Northpark where she took on the responsibilities of Art Curator and Events Coordinator. She also presided as the salon's updo and extension specialist.
Leia was feeling restless at the conquer of Northpark when she serendipitously met Christine Dillon, owner of The Rosary Room. The two recognized instantly that they must either battle it out Highlander style or choose to join forces. And thus the team was forged and Leia move to the Mexicasian-gangster-fusion salon, The Rosary Room, in downtown San Diego. Here she resides, beautifying and funkifying all between heaven and earth.
