I am a classically trained fine artist in all mediums with a particular and refined mastery of Charcoal. I am also a photographer that does my own retouch work. My best subject is the human form in intriguing, conceptual and unique situations. My compositions tend to unleash the potential of cinematic scenarios, granting the viewer ideas of what may happen next, and the concept of question/mystique.
All my drawings are hand rendered with no tracing, grids and no digital manipulation. They are all on 100% french cotton bristol vellum.
My focus on this site is to work with models for a conceptually dynamic photography portfolio in conjunction with drawings, with the figure as focus. I use photography which I shoot, to aid the depth of process on paper. The drawings will likely be displayed in galleries.
In addition, I plan to utilize my photographic work as a stand alone series in itself. Exhibiting how lighting describes a beautiful subject and expressing visual concept through that unique corridor.
It really is all about either the concept, or the process in itself.
*Currently working bicoastal
I have done several private commissions in permanent collections.
