If you're a traveling model and you want to collaborate that's fine, but I'm getting way too many requests from those coming on vacation, and then lose interest while they're here.

I have a diverse, or maybe unpredictable style, but in the end it's always a collaboration between the model and the photographer, so we both have to be happy. I'm very casual but know what I want and what quality I am after, which includes models who are also willing to look past the norm and push the borders to create something new and intriguing.
At the end of the day, I'm happy if I get one amazing shot. I'm very particular about getting everything right and making sure the model is comfortable and having a great time. Every model I've worked with has wanted to come back for more shoots, so I guess I'm doing something right.
I'm very far from perfect, but perfection is what I'm trying to achieve; it's a goal that is unattainable, but we try in vain. As john Ruskin said, "No good work whatever can be perfect, and the demand for perfection is always a sign of a misunderstanding of the ends of art."

My fall schedule is getting quite full. I'll be contacting local models for work, and those who can help source the right wardrobe will be considered first. I'll be posting casting calls as the details are given to me.

TFP my way
I scout for new locations every week. I spend hours using aerial maps, old city records, Google, whatever it takes to find new and interesting places. I go to these places and check them out before planning a formal shoot, and I usually stumble on additional locations nearby. If you want to come along for the ride, bring your iPod for my stereo, and we'll do a shoot if the location works out. Of course, I'll provide all images completely processed like a paid shoot.

Charity
I'm extremely charitable, and I'm involved with a number of organizations. I like to give back to the community in any way I can, so please contact me if you need a photographer for your charity event. Unfortunately, I can only agree to attend if I'm not already booked.
