I didn't start out a photographer. I started out as a small, microscopic dot that developed into a huge Picasso mess of a person, in a good way. I mean, I make my bed in the morning and all, but I expect that life is supposed to be messy. Colorful. Thought-provoking.
I'm much more interested in the excitement and passion behind the smiles than the actual smiles in the photograph. Who cares that there's a hair out of place in your best shot of the day--that hair was put there for a reason. Bold isn't capturing a subject's colorful outfit; bold is capturing that person's colorful soul.
I specialize in portrait/fashion/musician photography, but I also dabble in engagements and weddings.
On a deserted island, I'd probably go a little crazy without photography, my guitar, and my four-legged companion, Bear. I long to tell stories, capture emotion and cast visual spells with my art--that's my life's goal; and knowing that I just told the world that makes it official.
I haven't won any awards or seen even a 10th of the world yet, but I know, someday I will. The hope of tomorrow lingers in the air of today.
Let's be friends. And while you're here, you can sit in front of the camera.
