My name is Sara Meynardie and I would love to take your photograph!

I shoot on location and prefer urban, street settings. I have my own portable lighting equipment, but when possible I really like to use available light. I use flashes less for fill light and more as an accent to up the drama factor.

If I had to pick a perfect model, I would choose someone who's comfortable in his/her skin, who enjoys having fun while on a photo shoot and doesn't take himself/herself too seriously. Because really, although this is my real job, I love what I do. Love the locations, the cameras, the angles, the people!

By day, I'm a portrait photographer. I'm used to working with people who are nervous in front of a camera, so newbie models step right on up! When it comes to model shoots, though, I definitely see them as more of an artistic collaboration. This is what I do to keep my creative juices flowing. I'm open to other/new/different ideas. When they work it's amazing! When I work with you, I'd love to hear your voice in the process.

People have told me that I'm fun and easy to work with, and I hope that's true. I consider it an honor when someone chooses me to photograph their vision.
