My name is George W. Lander, and I have had a love for photography since High School over 20 years ago in which I started with my first camera barrowed from a friend. I have always been an artist at heart to include photography, music and a touch of drawing here and there. I am not new to the art of photography, as I have 20+ years of experience in wildlife, outdoor, criminal, investigative, event and family photography, but new to studio work. I'm not use to models sitting or staying in one place to have their picture taken. I usually have to chase the model (wildlife) around for awhile or sneak up to get the perfect capture. I'm not even going into the C, I part of it as it was from a previous occupation, which encompassed those aspects of photography. I have always been the true amateur photographer. Amateur meaning someone who loves photography without care of monetary profit, but only satisfaction of the art and capturing the moment itself. In the past I have only specialized in wildlife, outdoor, friends/family, and scenery photography to include event photography. I have retired from the military, assist in teaching photography at Central Texas College, and in the process working on my Masters degree at Argosy University. I am always looking to improve my skills, with new genres to explore and new perfect moments captured by the camera and an artistic eye. TFP and TFCD are always welcome as again money is nice, but not the reason that I am a photographer. I hope to make some good acquaintances. Thank you for the visit.
