A traditional fine art landscape photographer starting to really like photographing people. The more character the better I like them. Young, old, wrinkled, goth, biker, bring them on. I really don't like what I call the "Olan Mills" type of portrait. I prefer environmental portraits or even candid street shots. Or something that looks like candid street shots anyway.
I'm also interested in photographing the nude in industrial landscapes. I'm interested in the juxtaposition of the body against the rusty and crusty ruins. The perseverance of the form versus the impermanence of mans works.
So far I've only photographed the female nude, I would like to attempt some male nudes, depending on the model and location.
Frankly, I'm not interested in blatant erotic or porn style shots. I don't mind piercings or body art, but I'm not interested in belittling my models.
