-
Alan M. Ross (MM#274169): A very nice man who welcomed several of us into his beautiful home for a shoot on a warm day this October. Although he had his own agenda as far as the photographs he needed to get (he uses them to advertise clothing online), he still wanted to ensure we models were able to get some unique, lovely and useful images for our portfolios.
(Middleton, WI)
-
Kelly Kuzulka of Locked Studios (MM#2119475): Kelly was SO much fun to work with! (Madison, WI)
-
Ann Oleinik of Ann Oleinik Photography (MM#2248794): Ann is a sweet, thoughtful, delightfully creative wedding and bridal fashion photographer with a great eye for both the perfect image and the perfect setting. I had the privilege of working with her at my first "bridal" shoot (though I hope to do more!) at the Spertus Center---an absolutely gorgeous architectural structure overlooking Michigan Avenue in downtown Chicago. Ann was able to get a couple of sample images to me and the other model within a day or two of the shoot, which (considering her busy schedule) was not only thoughtful, but quite impressive. I truly enjoyed working with Ann, as well as the other photographers invited to the shoot---not only was it a fun, valuable learning experience, but I received some wonderful, diverse images to add to my portfolio.
(Chicago, IL)
-
Alan David Charles (MM#1436354): Truly incredible photographer to work with. He's had many years of real-world modeling experience (the kind most of us can only dream about) and he's able to channel that very effectively in how to appropriately direct his models. He has a wonderful eye for capturing not only an interesting, eye-catching image---but also one that is most flattering to the model, his/her wardrobe, etc. I would HIGHLY recommend working with Alan if ever given the opportunity.
(Madison, WI)

Sarah Kaplan Sarah is an aspiring photographer studying and honing her skills at MATC. I had the pleasure of shooting with her this afternoon (02/23/2012), and I must say, she is not only a sweetheart, but also has a great eye for detail, and is very receptive to model feedback. Plus, she was able to send me copies of some of the images in only a few short hours---VERY impressive! I absolutely hope to work with her again.

Rory Drezdon of RoryFoto (MM#68155): I had the pleasure of shooting with Mr. Drezdon for several hours at an incredible Milwaukee location called "Bucketworks". It's a fabulous space, with so much potential for creating different themes that you really need more hours than the day allows to fit in all the ideas it inspires. Rory was wonderful to work with---patient, down-to-earth, very receptive to his model's creative ideas, and---most importantly---he shoots beautiful work. I am personally very excited to work with Rory again, and I would recommend him to any of my modeling friends---whether you are in need of a serious portfolio re-vamp, or you just want to shoot for fun, Rory is the photographer for you!
(Milwaukee, WI)

(McHenry, IL)
-
Michael Mowbray: I had the opportunity to shoot with Michael at an all-day photography workshop. Despite the unfortunately cold weather we were "blessed" with, it was a great experience to watch Michael teach the workshop students, I learned quite a bit myself (in regards to photography), and I received some really wonderful images only a few days later. I would certainly recommend shooting with Mr. Mowbray, if given the opportunity.
-
Dan Frievalt: I was fortunate enough to shoot with Dan during a day-long photography workshop lead by photographers Michael Mowbray, Dan, and Pierre Stephenson. Dan is very down to earth, has a fabulous eye, and I would love to work with him again!
