About me
I am a local photographer in Edmonton Alberta I’ve been shooting for several years now, but I won’t boast, brag, or claim that I am a professional. In my honest opinion that is a word that is tossed around too much these days without any real thought of its meaning. In my opinion you can be a photographer for 5, 10, or even 15 years and still not have what it takes to be a professional photographer.
I try to keep my style of shooting different from other photographers and different from each shoot that I do, but with a distinctive element that is my own. The thing I like to do with my photography is learn, I like to discover different thoughts, ideas, or methods of shooting photography that I did not have at the beginning of each shoot.
I firmly believe that photography is a team effort, it may be 1 person’s idea, 1 person’s equipment, but it takes a team’s time and effort to pull it off, and all parties in that team deserve equal credit.
