About Me

As a photographer/ artist , its everybody dream to work and live in Paris. What happend there on the black Friday, is extremely inhuman. Those who kill innocent people in the name of religion, the only bring shame to the religion that they follow.

Lets all pray for peace to prevail . May God help Paris. May God help us all.

Back in Delhi
will be here till mid December

..... an eye that "sees" the beauty all around........ and the finger that "clicks" !

A self taught photographer since a very tender age. I have been doing a lot of personal projects related to travel, but I primarily happen to be a Fashion and Glam photographer.

I wear multiple hats, so many people ask me  am I a " professional" photographer if that implies that I get my bread from the camera then NO, I am not a professional photographer.

My living and my life are two distinct entity. I earn my bread good enough that's why there is never the scarcity of butter ( that comes through the Lens).

But, I live and breath to make pictures.

In every art form, there is art and there are tools. Sometimes, it becomes difficult even for the artist to understand whether, it’s the love for the tool that is the driving force or the subject.

I  was inspired by nature and thus chose the lens as my  tool. In my early days, when I used to shoot portaits of my friends and family on black and white and colour films, everybody used to admire the pictures.

Though I started at a tender age of 15 as a product photographer, eventually I  ventured into industrial and photo feature by the time I was 21.

“Accidently” I shot a portfolio of an aspiring model and  was considered a “gifted” photographer. A firm believer in Almighty, I started realizing that “beauty does not lie in the eyes of the beholder”, rather it is eternal .
My inclination towards Buddhism makes me see the light within every living soul, which gets reflected in my work.

One of the best compliments I received was “any background, or no back ground, light or no light, with or without make-up, you make the model look good”; to this I politely replied that every human being, the best creation of Almighty, is beautiful.

Sam , as I am  called in Glam world, do not “treat” humans as subjects while shooting, rather my post graduation in Sociology from JNU helps meto slip into the shoe of the person being clicked. When it is said about wildlife photography “don’t click animals, for what they look like; click them for what they do”. I do  not make portraits; rather ,I  try to captures the true essence of the persona.

Besides being a “personal photographer” in the field of travel, nature, wildlife, culture, fine art photography ,  candid ,old school film photography ( even today), Infra-red,  and so on, I  enjoy the most clicking fashion, glamour, style and life style.

So If you have what it takes to be a Model, dont hesitate to contact me. We might create some beautiful pictures together.

My best wishes to all the creative souls around.
