This profile is all about my project to capture images of strong women.
In creating this project, the images that influence me include the heroic art of the Soviet Union and the WPA artists in the U.S, as well as the portrait work of Robert Mapplethorpe (especially his portraits of Lisa Lyon)
I'm mostly hoping to work with objects (and settings) that show a model's particular strength, and I may create some as well. My vision is that this would mostly be nude, but some of it might work if shirtless as well. I can provide more details and some reference images if interested.
Please send me a note if this might interest you. Given my schedule and what is booked, this will probably stretch at least through the middle of 2012. I am offering trades for this work--electronic images, or, particularly because of the nature of this project, one or two beautiful prints.
