Rosemary Kokuhilwa is a Freelance Fashion Stylist (http://rosemarykokuhilwastyling.tumblr.com/) , a Fashion Blogger (http://www.fashionjunkii.com/) , a certified make up-artistry , Co-founder & Chairman & CEO of Global Fashion New York Inc (http://www.gfny.org/) and an ex-model from Tanzania. Encouraged and supported by her father, Rosemary has been fascinated with the world of fashion at a very young age in her native country of Tanzania. Her love for all things fashion came into play immediately after she graduated from High school and started modeling for Faces International and working for M-Net Africa - Tanzania. This opportunity allowed her to gain experience from working on multitude of exciting assignments including Road shows for M-Net Rock Down Africa, Chanel O, M-Net Face of Africa, and styling for local runway shows. Determined to find her niche in the fashion industry in a capacity of her choice, Rosemary migrated to the US and has since started her own very popular fashion site aptly named Fashionjunkii
She has worked with world-renowned photographer for Miss Universe Fadil Berisha (http://www.fadilberisha.com/) and also worked as a key stylist for Boston Fashion Expose, produced the first Global Fashion New York Inc fashion show (http://www.gfny.org/) and has been present and participated in numerous seasons of New York Fashion week and recently Paris Fashion Week. Rosemary has a number of private clients that she assists in maintaining their desired looks as well as updating their wardrobes . She also works as a buyer for one of her clients boutique back in Tanzania.
Currently Rosemary has been contracted as the new Style Director for Prajje 1983 fashion brand, a New York based Haitian designer, Prajje Jean Baptiste (http://www.prajje1983.com/).
In spite of her own personal and professional achievements, Rosemary has not forgotten her roots and the desire to help the underprivileged. She is a social entrepreneur and a philanthropist. In the USA, Rosemary has and continue to use her clout and and status to raise funds to support causes in Tanzania and elsewhere.
