2002 Fashion Institute of Technology Graduate I have a background in Merchandising and Marketing. While working on my Bachelor’s Degree, I interned for Audrey Smaltz and The Ground Crew, where I learned the ins-and-outs of fashion show production. After interning for Audrey, I worked at Joseph Abboud for 6 years starting out as an Administrative Assistant for Sportswear. After 2 years, I then became a Retail Services Coordinator teaching the company’s retail accounts how to merchandise and sell The Joseph Abboud Brand. I, also worked closely with the marketing department creating collateral to brand all retail shop spaces with major accounts like Macy’s, Bloomingdales and Nordstrom. After working for Joseph Abboud, I decided I wanted to be more hands-on creativity, vision and design. I then became assistant designer for MW Samara, Inc. a sterling silver jewelry company. I was at Samara for a year as the company’s business started to decline, It was then I decided to pursue my independent movement. Joining forces with my husband (RIAA Certified Platinum Producer/ Grammy Award Winner) Dean “F.R.E.A.K Farmer, I helped to form their independent record label F Records. Establishing the position of Creative Director for the label, I also hold the responsibility of Image Consultant/Stylist for artists Draft, F.R.E.A.K and DJ Lee Farmer.

With a passion for Fashion and a Desire to gain more industry momentum with F Records and Independently, I am now promoting my own brand LADI CHIC!
